Lancôme & YSL – Know Your Beauty Regime!

Make-up and everything remotely close to it has now become a work of art for our generation! Several brands are coming up with cosmetics that don’t just make you look flawless, but also nurture your skin and keep it healthy and glowing. Speaking of make-up, how can I not mention Scentsation – An ultimate Beauty Heaven for girls in Karachi!

An similarly speaking of beauty brands, L’Oreal undoubtedly is one of the top brands in the world that excels in providing you with just the right cosmetics for your skin! Recently L’Oreal Luxe invite beauty bloggers in Karachi to educate them about their star brands Lancôme and Yves Saint Laurent!

YSL and Lancôme were launched in 2014 in Pakistan at Scentsation!

Here’s what you need to know about these two amazing brands:

Lancôme is three axis France based luxury brand from L’Oreal Luxe. The brand came to its existence in 1935 by Armad Petit Jean. Lancome has been providing beauty solutions to women for over 80 years, holding up the communicating that women come to Lancome for beauty solutions always leave happier!

As for Yves Saint Laurent, he was born in 1936 and grew up in Oran, Algeria. He launched his first men’s fragrance, Poure Homme, in 1971. YSL unites the most cutting-edge technology with the fascination and an ultimate censorial experience. Forever Youth Liberator and Forever Light Creator are the main skin care lines.

At the Lancome and YSL Beauty Blogger meet up, the bloggers were introduced to and educated about the products by Sana Omair. The bloggers were briefed about products like Genefique, Visionnaire, Absolue and DreamTone that work towards making your skin healthy and glowing. The products focus on correcting your skin tine ad well it keep it wrinkle-free.

 

Personally I’m using DreamTone now to correct my skin color. A detailed review of the product will be uploaded soon!

Moreover, two amazing bloggers Sundus and Ayesha were given Lancome and YSL makeovers respectively, making us see the right use of Lancome and YSL products.

Overall, it was a great learning and educating experience to know what your beauty regime should be like!

Mom, You’re the Balm!

Last weekend the world celebrated yet another important day of the year – Mother’s Day! Several brands in Pakistan took the front seats with their digital and on-ground campaigns revolving around the occasion, however, The Balm was one of those who stood out amongst the crowd!

The balm’s activation at Dolmen Mall Tariq Road, that started from May 6th, definitely won the hearts of several mothers and their daughters with free makeovers and surprise gifts on buying the products. That definitely was a great deal!

What made this campaign a great success was the way it was synced on digital platforms by using #BeTheBalm! The before and after makeover selfie check-ins and the pictures with moms for a Facebook contest brought out the essence of Mother’s Day for the audience.

The international make-up brand took yet another step forward by engaging a Sara Salon & Spa’s crew for makeover classes on May 7th, further strengthening the bond with the target audience and opening avenues for conversations about it on digital!

The activation turned out to be great for the audience, telling the moms that they are definitely #TheBalm!

Its great to see brands celebrating such days in the most localized manner to build a bond with the target group! As for The Balm, their make-up line gets all praises from me along with their punny communication that’s totally a winner for me! Way to go!
